Instructions for use

When expanding, make sure that the individual nylon jaws are not placed across the dividing plane of the basic six-section table, but are placed on the individual expanding segments. When expanding to a larger diameter, use the following procedure:

Procedure

  1. Fit the expandable pipe reducer or reducer to the selected segment diameter.

  2. Start by stretching your jaws by gradually extending your doll until the resistance on the lever indicates that you are starting to stretch your throat.

  3. From this point on, follow the scale of the gauge and feel free to pull the required diameter, at least by 1 mm. If you are stretching, for example, a reduction from 140 mm to 155 mm, the first stretch needs to be pulled a little more, because the material is pulled between the individual stretching segments.

  4. After this initial expansion, the piston needs to be pushed down a little and the jaws released. Then, we push the pipe upwards, rotate it out of the jaws so that the extruded parts of the neck are placed in the center of the jaws.

  5. We put it back on the jaws and continue stretching it to the desired diameter.

With this procedure, the neck should be nicely round, with no visible

IF YOU OWN ANY SET OF BASIC SEGMENTS AND NEED 130, 150MM THROUGHOUTS, WE RECOMMEND USING SEGMENTS OF THESE DIAMETERS – OTHERWISE THERE IS A RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE THROUGHOUT MACHINE!

Use to stretch these materials

Stainless steel up to material thickness – 1 mm

Carbon steel up to a material thickness of 1.9 mm maximum – wedge deformation may occur!
